One only has to look around the UAE to see some of the most futuristic designs of high-rise towers available anywhere in the world. However, the design of the exterior is only part of the story, for if the building is to achieve what was in the mind of the person with the original concept, then the style, quality, finishes and effect of the interior must be to an equally high standard.
One company that has set its sights on achieving just this, is WA International. Although the company was established originally in London in 1978, it was quickly realised that the UAE was where the bulk of the work was going to originate from and, with this in mind, an office was set up there in 1993 to meet the demand for the company’s interior design services in the rapidly growing five-star hospitality sector of the Middle East. Today, the situation has reversed, with almost all of WA International being based in Dubai, with just a small operation in the UK.
